Live culture yogurt for neutropenic person?

(Shoot sorry, accidentally posted and can't delete so I may as well ask) Anyone know what the negative consequences are if an immunocompromised person eats live culture yogurt? Transplant patients are recommended to eat a "neutropenic diet", which avoids live culture yogurt. I ask because I've been consistently neutropenic for a while; and suffered neurological problems last week after several helping in a row of this special yogurt. Am wondering if it's connected.

(I still have elevated MCV and MCH, with just enough RBC that docs don't care but maybe my B12 is low. Hadn't been tested :/. )

    Thanks for thoughts!
