Boyfriend is going to get himself evicted?

So my boyfriend is turning 25 and insists that he's going to have a party for himself at his house. The problem is, he can't get any more complaints or he risks getting evicted. I have no idea why he wants to have a party at his house knowing that. First it was gonna be on the weekend at his parents house and I know at that point he invited at least 15 people, now he can't have it at his parents house so he's going to have it at HIS house. I'm not sure if the same people are going or if he invited more people or less people. He said it pretty much depends on who shows up. He has gotten several complaints in the past, including for having parties and loud music, mainly noise complaints. I do not think this was a good idea but he won't listen, says I need to stop worrying and it's not going to be what I think it is. He basically doesn't care that he's running the risk of getting in trouble. We have been together almost 3 months, I don't think I'd want to stay in a relationship with him if he got kicked out because it would be his fault that he got kicked out and we fight a lot.

    People aren't quiet at parties.

Queen, do you need any more reasons to leave this guy? So far you have told us about 5 different ones. Its your life, but you don't seem to understand that this guy is bad for you or that he doesn't care what you think...

    Why are you with him?

You cant stop him from having a party OR getting evicted and truthfully, this is not your problem. Let him have his party. Don't go and wait and hear what happens. Stay away from trouble Queen or you are just asking for it yourself.

A part of me wants it to work but I don't know why! Anyone I've talked to about this said they wouldn't risk losing their home for a party. He won't listen. I'm going to be there but he doesn't have to worry about me causing trouble.

Queen, I think you should really think about why you want this to work. So far you have told us he disrespects you in so many ways...and now you are basically saying he has no respect for himself.

You shouldn't be there. Whether you cause any trouble or not, if trouble comes, do you really want you name attached to this?

Do you love and respect yourself? If you arent sure, you need to find out. If you do love and respect yourself, then please start to spend time around people who show you love and respect in return. He doesnt like or respect anyone including himself from what you have told us.

Please sweetheart listen to msnic get out of this relationship before he starts being more disresceptful to you. If he's not going to listen to the voice of reason on something like a party than he's not going to listen later.

He's not grown up enough for a relationship if his biggest concern is having a party over a place to live. End this before he gets kicked out and wants to move in with you.

Something else that bothers me too is his ex gf's grandfather randomly came over last Sunday. He was nice but it was awkward and I tried talking to him about it after he left. He won't budge on that either. He says he's a caring person and that her family cared about him and that they took his side when they broke up. She's a drama queen looking for ammunition. He says the guy came over because he wanted to see how he was doing. A year after him and his ex broke up..

He said he hasn't talked to anyone else in her family since we've been together. So how close are you really to them? Now I'll always worry about one of them stopping by. He told the grandfather he had a GF.

if you walked away from this you wouldn't have to worry about what he's doing or not doing......it's a very freeing and liberating feeling, why don't you try it?

IMO, sometimes we stay with someone because we like feeling superior.

Until you want a partner that you can respect as an equal, you will hang onto irresponsible relationships.

    Good luck with that.
