Blind in one eye some feedback, please?

Perhaps not technically blind but ....
I have had many problems with my eyes, including cataract surgeries, retinal detachments, dislocated lenses, and corneal transplants. Both eyes are affected but the right one has, after 7 surgeries, gone south.

In July 2017, a suture was removed from my right eye - just plucked - and an antibiotic eye drop was instilled. Two days later, my right eye clouded up enormously I could not identify my wife at 10 feet. See her, yes; identify her, no.

It started to clear up by mid-afternoon about 6 months but never enough. I can identify her now. The cycle repeats itself daily. I use Pred Forte in both eyes at bedtime to prevent any possible rejection of the transplants. I've started using Muro in the right eye and that has helped. When I get up it's clouded up again.

My doctor said it's probably rejection of the transplant. He said he saw some swelling before the eye drop and -- while that antibiotic can cause blurry vision - it doesn't happen very often.

I am not impressed. After 7 surgeries the eye is apt to show some swelling and that eye drop can cause blurring. In July I had a dislocated lens in my left eye repaired, so I need new glasses even if the right eye was OK. I decided several years ago that I would not have any more surgeries on the right eye. I've decided , also, to stop wearing glasses. It isn't worth it. I've zoomed my browser to 125% and am wearing eye patch when I'm on the 'puter. I use an occasional drop of natural liquid tears -- not Visine or other products - in my left eye.. My eyes are a little sore but such is life.

Does the Muro, eye patch and neutral tears seem sort of sensible? I read on the computer and, in my wheelchair, move up to the TV a few feet. I can deal with that.

Sorry for the length and thanks for any feedback.

Have you seen other eye doctors? Specialists? Have you thought about visiting an Eye hospital? You have been through so much. Have you always used the same eye doctor or gave you gotten other opinions from different people?

I can hear your frustration which is why I am curious if you have explored all your options.
