Super shy I am.

I'm very shy and I don't know how to change that. I at least wanna be "A little shy" Not "very shy" I never had friends, etc. I still don't have any. I speak very low that it bothers people, I think.. they do know that I am shy, so they understand. I also get picked on and yelled at.. I do get treated bad sometimes. I'm a person who is a vegan raw, I am very into nutrition and nature.. I knw a lot about these. My major is nursing, and I am senior in college. I also work out so i am muscular. So yeah, I care about animals and humans. However, I look like a guy who doesn't do all this. In reality, I am smart and have a future. I'm always smiling, so I am never serious.. could that be the problem? Do I have to be serious? =\ I never do anything wrong.. some people are just *******. I don't know how to deal with assholes.

I'm in a hurry, so sorry for mistakes!

I will read more here since I am new to this forum.
I really want to become less shy, so hopefully I learn.

Re: Super shy I am.

You don't sound like you have any reason to be shy. Do you? Just set yourselves challenges to work though one challenge a day to make yourself more comfortable around people and more confident. eg. Day 1: ask someone to take your picture in front of a building you like. Day 2: ask a stranger if they'd like some help with their shopping.........Day 14: Chat up the hottest girl in the playboy mansion.

Good luck

I think the more you give yourself exposure to situations and things which evokes anxiety in you the more you feel better. I agree with Mr 1988 try different situations daily and after some days you will see improvement in yourself. Even if you failed once try it again. You will overcome it.
