Longterm chronic right sinus/breathing/eye pain issue

Hi everyone. I've been having issues with my nose and eye for years now and have been doctor to doctor trying to figure out what might be the cause. I've had the camera down my nose several times and have been told that it's all clear and one told me he could see reflux.

Examination findings by clinic: There is no bony lesion seen at the temporomandibular joints. A good range of opening movements is present, slightly more on the left side.
There are areas of mild mucosal thickening in the ethmoid regions, but otherwise the sinuses appear largely clear.
There is swelling of the nasal mucosa on the right. There is mild asymmetry of the nasal septum. The nasopharyngeal airway appears adequate. The upper and lower 3rd molars are absent. 3D images are provided.

Then i got referred to another specialist who looked the affected nostril and said he can see inflammation in there and said regular nasal sprays will make it worse and got me to use a brand called neilmed gel and a cream to put in there for several weeks to see him again to calm it down and suggested to do surgery to straighten the septum and take abit of tissue out to increase the airway and also gave a referral for a blood allergy test.

When i came back to see him again the blood test came back as negative and i said what is causes the big flareup inflammation in there, could it be the septum. He said that he doesn't think so and that it possibly is an allergy. So he has currently put me on a waiting list thing to get another allergy test that is the skin one? I'm not sure exactly what it's called.

Symptoms: I can't sleep well, breathe properly, throat pain like burning when i talk, i think i have post-nasal and the pain i experience in my nose, head and eye is infuriating and is greatly affecting my social life and everything.
    What could it be?

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Hi....what was the blood test you had, and did you have a nasal swab done to check for staph?

Did he suggest you do the Neilmed sinus rinses? I use them daily...once in morning and when bad I do at night as well.

Are you on zantac? Worthy of trying.

I feel your pain....i tend to use pseudoephedrine, Mucinex when my issues are bad. My last one was a sinus infection, but the issues lasted for months and months after the infection cleared. I did go to an allergist and she did the skin scratch test which resulted in one allergy to cats. Yep have a cat.....not getting rid of her either.

My sinuses are good at this point, even in Spring.....so its not the cat.

    Have you tried antihistamines? Singulair?

    Thanks Quincy for your input.

I can't remember exactly sorry what the blood test was for. If only i can find the referral somewhere.
I've never had the staph test before, does the e.n.t just take the swab in the consulation?

Only told me to use the Neilmed Gel Spray whenever i need for relief.

I tried Zantac a few times but didn't notice any help. I've tried maybe 3 gels so far recently. Is there supposed to be a specific time or dosage to where i'll feel the effect?

Hi....the swab in the nostrils is done in office.

I really like the neilmed bottle rinse system....that can help reduce some inflammation and clear sinuses. Worth trying.

The gels work to help reduce dryness and irritation.

The zantac should be taken either once or twice a day....using it for a few weeks would at least be a fair trial to see if it helps. 150 mg twice daily then down to 150 if your reflux discomfort improves. The zantac can also be used 300mg at bedtime. Are you worse in the morning?
