Question when will my sinus pain end??

I have never had a sinus infection before, I have taken
this antibotic that the doctor gave me (it's white and suppose to be
    stronger then
the pink antibotic that the dentist gave me before both were/are
    liquids) well I have been
taken this for 3 days now and I still have this horrible pain that is
in my right jaw/cheek it feels like my nerve pain that i have in my
    upper abdomen :-(
When will this sinus pain end??
Does anyone know how long it takes for the antibotic to start
to get rid of the pain/infection??
The ultram that i take for my pain that's in my upper abdomen doesn't
even take any of the pain away that is in my jaw/cheek. :-(
God I can't stand pain, It seems like God doesn't want me to ever be
pain free, this is so darn depressing.
I read on the internet that sinus infections can happen frequently,
it doesn't mean that i will have this everyday for the rest of my life
    does it??
Anyone who has had a sinus infection before, did yours come back??
My doctor told me that if this medicine that i'm taking doesn't take away
the pain then I will need to have a CT scan done.
Does that mean that I will need to have surgery to get this infection
    out of me??
Oh I hope that i don't need to have surgery, I am soooooooooooo scared
of having surgery done to me again after what happend from getting my
    gallbladder taken out.

Re: when will my sinus pain end??

I had my first sinus infection last fall and I had the same problem with my mouth hurting. I swore I had a toothache. I went to the dentist and he could find nothing wrong. I then went to the doctor and he gave me an antibiotic and it took 2 full weeks to go away. I found out on the Internet the antibiotic he gave me was a weak one and maybe that is why it took so long. If it happens again I will request a stronger one.

Sinus infection can come back but they don't have to come back the same way. They are miserable. I will not complain about a regular head cold again.
