My sinuses/throat is driving me crazy!

Hi Ladies,
It's me again bugging you. But I noticed in some of your previous threads that there appears to a sinus/throat issue for some of us.
I just don't know if it is my sinuses, my throat, reflux or menopause. It just feels like something is stuck at the opening of my throat or the ending of my nasal cavity. I have tried everything otc/prescriptions and it is still there. I am so very tired of swallowing and the nasal drip is driving me crzay. I thought maybe it was reflux, but now I am not sure. I am thinking perhaps it has something to do with hormone imbalance as well. I have an appt for a sinus ct next week. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: My sinuses/throat is driving me crazy!

I am having horrible allergies this year. Most pollen years I can get by with nothing but a kleenex. This year it was Nasalcrom AND kleenex :o and just when I thought Birch trees were done, I think Oak is bugging my sinuses.

I know allergies can cause lots of drainage and coughing....
Hope you feel better soon.

If this is a new thing, you may want to see a doc. A friend of mine had to have her esophogus stretched (and she had the same stuck-in-throat experience).

Yep that sounds exactly like my throat feels. I have decided it is part LPR and part TMJ. I have had some relief using natural products for digestion, such as papaya tablets, acid ease, etc. There is a good thread on the gerd board (I think or the digestive disorders one) about how someone is treating their LPR. I have found those things have helped me as well.
