Question implant and sinus lift vs bridge

Don't know what to do. I have an upper "Marilyn" bridge that has fallen out twice now. My dentist said I either need to have a permanent bridge placed which will destroy the surrounding 2 heathy teeth, or go through an implant but will also need a sinus lift because my sinus is too low. I've already had one implant but it is in my lower jaw so sinus is not an issue. That was not a fun experience but I guess not all THAT bad. Has anyone had a sinus lift? I met with the surgeon for a consultation and also look on the internet about it, and am not sure if I want to put myself through this. Should I go with traditional bridge or do the implant and sinus lift? The idea sinus lift scares me.

My preference would be to do the bridge, yes implants are nice but they do not always work, plus the sinus lift to top it off whereas the bridge just adds an extra 20 seconds to your flossing and if the teeth next to it are healthy then chances are they should tolerate the preps on them just fine. Just my thoughts on this, but whichever route you go they are both good choices. Good luck.

I have never heard of anyone who was glad after any surgery or 'messing' with their sinus
But, healthy teeth are hard to come by....this was no help, was it http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dizzy.gif
