Try a benedryl at bedtime. It's the "PM" component in Tylenol PM so it will be OK for you to take.

Yes to the sudafed.. did it for over 13 years straight, before sinus surgery ended the need to do so.

Also look into using saline nasal sprays and ponaris nasal oil. They are extremely helpful if it is a dry sinus headache or allergy related.

I'm curious - where is your headache - above eyes, under eyes? I also get these and am wondering where yours are?

hi cyndi, my sinus headaches feel like they are always located right above my eyes, almost 99% of the time that is where they are!

If medication and nasal sprays do not work. Look into seeing an ENT and the procedure known as bilateral turboplasty. Some times it is inflamed membranes pressing on nerves because they are engorged to extremely high levels and not congestion. But always try treating the allergies and irritants first.
