Recurrent Sinus Infections Stopped by Natural Nasal Spray

I'm not going to mention a brand, and I'm going to give you a little bit of history.

I'm a 47 year old male living in an exurb of a Florida metropolitan area. Except for college in Virginia and a graduate program in Denver I have lived in Florida all my life. As a child I had numerous allergies and needed weekly desensitization shots to keep my nose even somewhat clear.

As an adult allergies weren't so bad, but I have suffered from recurrent nasal infections.

A few months ago my wife brought home an oregano-based nasal spray, and I have used it (sometimes only every couple of weeks) with good results. No more nasal infections, less need for tissues.

The stuff has a very strong spicy smell, and can sting a bit.

I am offering this option for anyone who wants to try it. It's not expensive, and as far as I can tell it is safe.

YMMV

I've gotten over more than one sinus infection with oregano oil nasal wash. I make my own by adding 1 or 2 drops of oregano oil, 1/4 tsp sea salt & pinch of soda to a cup of water.
