Smile It has now been 10 years since I suffered Chronic Multiple Annual Sinus Infections!

Over decades, I had spent a lot of money on ENTs and antibiotics, and spent a lot of time waiting desperately for hours in ENT offices. Little hope was ever offered to me. They would tell me that I had polyps, or inflammation, or a possible infection, and then write me a rx for antibiotics.

My sinus infections just kept coming, one after another, for Decades!!

Well....... around ten years ago, after decades of Chronic Annual Sinus infections, AND just after taking another round of antibiotics for another stupid sinus infection, I could feel another sinus infection coming on!

I recklessly and desperately used Diluted 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in my sinuses in a risky attempt to "kill" whatever was in my sinuses; which could be causing my Chronic Sinus Infection problems! I just couldn't take it any longer.

Anyway... after around seven months of using Diluted 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in my sinuses, I basically stopped using the Hydrogen Peroxide any more.

It's now ten years later, and I have not gotten another sinus infection. My sinuses feel great all the time.

I would not recommend that anyone else try what I did, especially without a doctor's supervision. Was I just lucky? Was it just coincidence? Were there other factors? Did I do more harm to my sinuses, or health than good? Regardless, if it was that easy for me to cure my own chronic sinus infection problem (Sinusitis), how come the medical world and the ENTs having discovered it? Could it be that it is more profitable to keep Sinusitis patients sick!

I just wanted to post my experience that I had found a way, or stumbled into a way to cure my Chronic, annual sinus infections. After so many decades of sinus misery, it is sooooooo nice to not have stuffed up, painful sinuses which sapped me of all my energy, and made me miserably ALL the damn time!

What has surprised me is that, even though my sinus problems have almost totally gone away, and I no longer get stuffy, from either allergies or infections, I still feel the other effects of pollens, pollutants and irritants that used to swell up my sinuses. Some of the discomfort still appears, but without stuffed sinuses. Not fair, is it!?

It's a beautiful Monday morning down here in South Florida. Trees are losing their leaves, but many other things are blooming. It's grass growing season, and the grass looks great. But.... since I cured my constant sinus infection problem, using simple, cheap "diluted" 3% Hydrogen Peroxide (Great Stuff!) I can enjoy the beautiful landscape without nasty, swollen sinuses and feeling drawn and ucky.

Those who have never suffered from constant sinus infections would not know how debilitating it is. I used to have to live my life around my stupid sinuses. Constantly going to Allergists and ENTs, only to NEVER have any real relief from my misery. I almost felt like they really either didn't want to be bothered with me, or that they were only interested in their fees, period. Could it be that the old say is right, about healthy patients being bad for business?

Anyway...... best of luck to all of the sinus sufferers out there. I hope that you find a cure for your misery too!

Re: It has now been 10 years since I suffered Chronic Multiple Annual Sinus Infection

Had my first sinus problems yesterday at the dentist. My head was back, and he was applying some liquid to my drilled-out cavity, probably some type of glue? I started choking on the mucus buildup in my throat. It made for an uncomfortable experience.

Interesting, though, once he finished the filling, the mucus buildup fortunately dissipated, and is no longer an issue. I am ALWAYS nervous about my sinus infection problems coming back, but it never happens as long as my sinus/nasal membranes remain totally healed.
