    Recovery after sinus surgery

About one week ago I had a septoplasty, turbinate reduction and removal of a concha bullosa - all to hopefully help me recover from chronic sinusitis. I still have a good bit of drainage and crusty stuff in my nose which I know is normal. I have also had a low grade fever (about 100-101) on several different occasions. The doctor tells me this is also normal. I did not have any antibiotics either during or after surgery. I just still feel almost like I have a really bad sinus infection. Just extremely tired and sort of achy. I just went back to work today (desk job) and was so exhausted by 5 pm that I had to come home and lie down for a couple of hours. Is all this just normal recuperation? When should I expect to start feeling good again? I guess I just expected the recovery would be a week or so and this has actually been worse than when I had my gallbladder removed.
