    Bad Breath

    Hello,

I know there are many threads here about bad breath but I wanted to know if people could describe the odors of their bad breath according to what illnesses they may have such as diabetes, lpr, tonsil stones, and the like.

I have bad breath and have tonsil stones but the ENT specialist told me I have LPR. I thought a tonsillectomy would cure me but now I"m not so sure after reading posts of people who had their tonsils removed and have even worse breath.

My breath tastes and smells like the rancid tonsil stones but my ENT specialist said I had none when I went to him about it.

What does the bad breath of lpr and diabetes smell like and taste like? Is it similar to tonsil stones? Anyone care to share? THANK YOU!

What is LPR! I have tonsil stones and had my tonsils removed already. Not sure how this happened and cant see them, however I feel and smell it. Got a ENT appointment thursday but I am going crazy waiting.

    Re: Bad Breath

i had my tonsils removed about 10 days ago, and have not had any bad breath from it since. also you may want to look into having your nose and throat checked out, there may be a seperate infection somewhere else, not ur tonsils, that is causing the problem. just a thought. good luck!
