    sinusitis? Check your tongue.

I had sinus problems for a couple years including severe upper tooth aches from the infection. Netti pot was the only think that ever helped, though only temporarily.

Then one day I noticed my tongue had quit a bit of white scuzz on it in the morn, so I began meticulously brushing the tongue including the sides and the back which involves overcoming the gag reflex. After each session I would sterilize the brush with bleach and rinse it well with water.

Well since beginning this regimen, no more sinus infections--amazing!

It seems many sinus infections are caused by a fungus overgrowth. If anyone knows how to completely control/destroy this fungus, let me know, thanks

Just thought I'd share this in case it helps anyone else.

    Re: sinusitis? Check your tongue.

There was a study back in 99.There were many Sinusitis Patients that Volunteered. The study concluded that in all the patients, 96% were found with Fungal Residue in their Nasal and Post Nasal Mucus. They asserted that, because of this study, in most Chronic Sinus Infections, the cause is Fungus.
There are all kinds of Doctors that treat this and it should've been noticed through an examination of your Mouth. Allergists most common treat this condition as it is known as Oral Thrush(Fungal). Your Primary Care Doctor could also give you said treatment if you complain of the Top of your Tongue being white as well as Recurrent Fungal Sinusitis. The medicine they will mostly give you is Fluconazole(Diflucan). It is used to treat Fungal Infections just about anywhere.
