Tiny open spot above cheek, identically on both sides of face??

Hi, about 6 months ago I felt a tiny imperfection under my eye (outer edge) above cheek. I then noticed the exact same spot/tiny lump on the opposite side of my face too. I exfoliated as it felt like something was stuck in the pore (like a splinter) as only felt it when scratching downwards not up. I got out a tiny white hard piece (like you get with Milia bumps) and put antiseptic cream on it assuming it would go away but within a week its always the same.

With covid I can't really get to see a dermatologist yet but hoped it was just a blocked duct or something but how come I have the identical issue on the other side of the face? I have occasionally dabbed Prep H on my outer eye wrinkles in that area which helps soften the skin but have don't this for years with no issues?

Sounds like milia or blocked pore from too rich cream, especially of it's in the other side as well. You could try an eye cream with retin A.
Don't use Prep H on your face, especially around your eyes, contrary to suggestions. It's not formulated for that area.
