Re: RED RASH around EYES
Problem, yes, though mild, I get rid of it with the topical stuff, and then the only way for me to keep it away is to avoid all foods that taste good, no candy, pop, ice cream, anything with surgar, anything with chemicals or man made byproducts. You pretty much have to eat a strickly all natural, all nature occuring diet. Which is damn near impossible and expensive, I always cave and eat stuff that'll make it come back... something I've been meaning to do though is get a liver functionality test, maybe try that, things might not get processed correctly and allergies are resulting. Possibly you're reacting to things in your food, thats why I say the all natural diet seems to work... Also winter time seems to worsen it, try short showers with cold water in the winter. In the summer the sun seems to help things for me, getting a tan at the same time. Maybe its seasonal. As far as I know there's no cure, its likely a reaction internally you just need to figure out what you're reacting to inside. Though I don't know, I'm still figuring it out.
Oh yah, less stress and WAY more sleep helps too, with tons of exercise. I let it get bad once because I was so focused in school and worked to exhaustion, but right now its gone completely. Something will probably tigger it again someday, I used to get it on my arms too, I think its excema, but after I got rid of it that first time on the arms it stayed away except for a few tiny dry patches will come and go but nothing that needs treating.
My suggestion, see a naturalist, or whatever, someone who studies natural alternatives to medicine, they seem to know alot about how some people react to food in their diet and all the internal workings... I also take alot of vitamines, zinc, all the B's (b-complex) throw in some vitamine D, E and A and over a period of time you might notice an improvement. Just healthier skin over all, makes it stronger and more resistant.
I have had a rash breakout around my eyes. It looks somewhat like a chemical burn that swells and itches, then eventually tightens, drys up then flakes before going away.
It has been happening on and off for 6 months. I have been on prdenisone and topical Hydorcordisone the entire time prescribed by several different specialists. I am now going to John Hopkins who has prescirbed the same medicine and they can not seem to figure it out.
Does anyone have this problem and a cure for it? or can recommend another specialist?
