Itching downstairs

For the past few weeks i've had uncomfortable itching in my groin and butt area. The area is never red or irritated except for a small patch of red on my left testicle. And on my backside, where my cheeks rub together and just outside of my anus is red and irritated. Ive tried some hydrocortisone and a prescription cream (Triama "something") which has helped with the itching, but the area is still red.

Any thoughs?

Re: Itching downstairs

Sounds like heat rash. I would try an OTC cream for diaper rash. They usually contain zinc. These creams work well to keep moist areas dry. Ask you pharmacist to suggest a good one. Desitin is a good one.

Good luck.
