My Son has had Molloscum since 6 mths, now 2 ys ! advice please ?

Hi I have a 2 yr old son who has had this molloscum since he was six months(only with in his nappy area, they seem to come and go, and don't bother him, looking more like skin tags these days! sometimes red and angry, other times skin colour ? Doctor diaognosed Molloscum, and said they come and go, could take years, he has two in particular which look so sore,at moment on crack of his bottom at top of cheeks he is just over two yrs, now want to get rid of them, as its been dragging on for what seems forever, but the thought of getting him to sit still long enough to be frozed off,and the distress and pain this could cause him ? and where they are sited worries e, as once removed will rub on his nappy I would expect...he has about 7 (all on his bottom, , rare ever more than this ? should I just leave well alone, the doc said they will go as quickly as they come ? had never even heard of these prior to diaognosis ..any help gratefully accepted
