Re: burning skin sensation
Hi, If it's burning pain in just a particular part, maybe it could be a nerve. I have arthritis in my big toe and the very tip of my toe (as well as the joint) burns. The Doctor has said it's probably a compressed nerve. Similarly, if you have a back problem (such as a small disc prolapse etc) it can cause burning in different areas (feet, legs, groin, arms, hip etc) depending on which disc it might be. If you think it could be this then google a "dermatome map" and that will show you areas of skin/nerves affected by different parts of the spine.
I guess it could be other things if the pain is all over... perhaps an allergy? But I just thought I'd give you my experience of skin burning sensation....hope that has helped.
