Re: Dyed Hair Scabs?

Umm, I am not an expert or anything, but could it be that you are allergic to the hair dye? They usually suggest that you do a skin test to see if there is any allergic reaction. I am not sure if you did do this or not, but I don't usually BUT luckily haven't ever had any reaction like that. Also, I know that it is suggested for most hair dyes that you haven't washed your hair for at least 24 hrs before you dye it because your scalps natural oils protect it. Again, I am not sure if you had clean hair when you dyed it. Maybe you can even see a Doctor about it?! I don't know how applicable any of this is, but I hope it at least helps a little. Good luck with finding out what it is.

Re: Dyed Hair Scabs?

hi,im not sure if they're the same thing but i dye my hair blonde and have naturaly really dark hair and sometimes I get those scabs just on areas that my scalp was probably sensitive too because they left the dye on my hair too long and it burnt my scalp.Anyways i went to my doctor and he said to keep the area as clean as you can(try not to use a lot of product near it and heat from the blowdryer)Also at night put a little hydrogen poroxide on it with a cutip to make sure there is no germs in it.Mine cleared up in no time,it just fell off, kind of gross but he said not to pick at it.sorry so long.I hope this helps. <IMG SRC="">
