Red face boils on buttocks/groin

has anyone ever had boils. I have three all where my underwear covers. They are sooo painful. Has anyone had these before? Any advice?

This is going to sound kind of flip, but I don't mean it to be. Maybe your underwear is a little too tight. It might be rubbing the skin and causing infections in the hair follicles. Or perhaps it's the elastic. Maybe you're allergic. Try changing brands.

Boils are very painful. They are most best dealt with by a dermatologist, they will needle them with meds that make them subside over a few days. Soaking in warm bath also would help. Dont squeeze them, let them come to a head, and be careful that the puss that comes out doesnt get anywhere else. Wash your hands if you touch them also. Usually when you get one , you'll get more. It has nothing to do with tight undies, though the thought sounded great.

Tea tree oil is very good for the boils that I get in my armpit.

Is it possible that they may be cysts? They can also occur in those places, either way your DR can help find a way to ease discomfort,example..special anitbacterial soaps, and draining the boil or cysts(which often go way on there own).

I have had this problem all of my life. Last year I heard about a product called gse. Short for grapefruit seed extract. This is a miracle product that can be found at health food stores. This stuff kills viruses, fungi, bacteria, parasites, even staph. You are not supposed to use it directly on your skin, but I put a drop on each boil, and it goes down a lot faster. I also drink it in my coffee each day. A friend had a boil the size of a golf ball on his rear, and when he drank the gse it went down, and it pushed all of the excess ink out of hos new tatoo. Good luck
