 is cut on my hand infected? what should I do?

This is a photo of the back of my hand. I don't really know what I even cut it on, but woke this morning and found these red streaks were radiating from it. I have been getting regular acupuncture treatments, and just learned the new girl my bro has been dating has been roaming around our house with a staph infections. She is on abx but don't know how long she's been on them. I also am paranoid re: infections b/c I have a medical implant in my brain, as well as in my stomach. My right hip has also been hurting A LOT the past few days. I think I just injured it over-exercising, but it's still unsettling.
What do I do? Wait & see? I don't want to go on abx if not necessary, resistance is already enough of a problem these days!
