Unable to sleep at all, when I do it is stressful
I hesitate to label myself as an insomniac, but I fear I'm headed down that road. I can not sleep at night and if I do it is not restful or relaxing. Usually I will fall asleep around 4am, have terrible, horrifying, and disturbing dreams that wake me up around 7 or so. Its getting worse though, last night I did not sleep at all. This happens every week or so but is becoming more and more frequent. I get confused during the day and cannot pay attention when reading or sitting in class. I take melatonin before bed but I fear it has stopped working. Can someone please help me? I need my life back.
