    Sorry if this is a double post, I thought I previously sent it but it doesn't show up.
    Anyway, has anyone taken Halcion? Since Ambien didn't work for me my doctor prescribed Halcion today and I am scared to take it after reading about the side effects.
    Any experiences out there?

    I will be anxiously watching this post too. I have had halcion perscribed for me for an upcoming dental procedure and I too am a bit nervous, especially about the idea of acting "goofy" on it. It does have some scary side effects listed too.

    I've taken Halcion several times over the years. Never had any "side effects" to speak of (certainly nothing like I had with anti-depressants). Only trouble I had was that I would often awake after about 4 hours feeling groggy, and unable to get back to sleep. It doesn't make me "goofy", because if I take enough to put me to sleep I can't possibly stay awake long enough to feel "goofy".

    halcion works great, no side effects. You may have trouble a night or two after you stop taking it
