    Waking up odd

I don't sleep too well throughout the night. Not necessarily gasping for air, or any of that. Girlfriend watches breathing when I sleep, and says it doesn't drop. Weird thing is, when I do wake up, I wake up feeling like my heart isn't working, I'm dizzy, and shortly there after have diarrhea. I have no idea why. Could it be my anxiety disorder showing up in waking me up in the morning? Maybe so. But it makes me dizzy and odd feeling in the chest for the first bit of waking up (thirty minutes to an hour).

The main disease that does this is Sleep Apnea.. there are three flavors and obstructive sleep apnea is the one that most people think of.. this is the choking and gasping for breath. Central sleep apnea is more silent and menacing as a result.. These are your two most likely candidates.. hypopnea based sleep apnea.. you sleep like the dead for hours on end and still feel the need for more sleep.

Overall you need to consult a sleep specialists and get a sleep study performed.

    Sincerely,
    MG
