There can be lots of reasons why people have sleep problems...just a few follow:
poor diet
meds and over the counter supplements
stress
sleep disorders (like central or obstructive sleep apnea)
illnesses like Lyme Disease, Depression, Fibromyalgia, etc.
If these problems interfer with daily life, or if they become chronic, a physician should be consulted to rule out physical problems, and if the physical health is ok, they should refer you to a board certified sleep specialist.
