Talking 3 Weeks of No Smoking

I am really proud today is my 3 week anniversary of not smoking. The urges are not even there anymore. Thank goodness because it is about minus 27 degrees celsuis here and I never smoked in my home. I have started working out very regularly, and it feels really good. I have gained some weight, about 3-5 pounds, but that can also because of that time of the month too. I am not overly concerned about that because I am going to the gym. I just want to let all of you that are trying to quit know that it gets easier. My week one was not easy by any means, but it has slowly improved. I am on Nicoderm 21 mg, and it has really helped. I feel I could quit the patch right now, but I am going to follow through with the program.

Julio, How are you doing?

Good Luck everyone, and remember it gets easier.

Great job, both of you! Believe me, from this point on it only gets easier and easier. I lost track and quit counting the days after about 3 to 4 months. Believe it or not, you WILL get to the point where you go days without thinking of cigarettes and also feel like you were always a non-smoker. One day you will just suddenly realize that you have gone past the point of no return and it feels so GOOD! Keep it up and just remember this is probably the best thing you've done for yourself in your lifetime!!!!!
