2 years later and the pain continues

    Compression fracture of T11-T12
Thoracic and lumbar disc degeneration and spondylosis.
Constant back pain. I can t walk or sit longer than 20 mins without extreme searing pain.
I m only 28years old. I can t even walk around the park with my son.
They only want to give me muscle relaxers and physical therapy for the past two years.

Did you have an injury that caused the compression fracture? When was your last MRI? What type of doctor are you seeing?

Yes I was injured two years ago. I was horse playing and someone jumped on my back piggy back style. My last MRI was two years ago. I am seeing doctor at my local spine center. He gave me two cortisone shots yesterday and referred me back to physical therapy again and called on another round of muscle relaxers. I'm tired of doing the same regimen all the time with no results but I'm told there is no other options for pain relief.

So I'm guessing you don't really know that the fracture has healed properly or whether the disc issues have gotten worse, whether there is something compressing a spinal nerve....

I would suggest you see a different spine specialist...either a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine or neuro surgeon for a new evaluation.
