    Pain pump pros and cons

I have chronic intractable pain due to failed back surgeries. I am 39 years old and I was recommended by my pain management doctor for a pain pump. I'm getting mixed opinions on this. I don't know what to decide to do. I've tried a scs, with no success and it was removed in January. My ultimate goal here is to reduce or come off my pain meds entirely but I know I can't without something else helping my pain. Very confused.
