Newbie with degenerating disk and Tarlov cyst

I have been diagnoised with degenerating disk. One disk is bulging. I have two Tarlov cyst near the tailbone. I'm having MRI done on neck which doctor believes is degenerating disk as well. My neck actually bothers me more than the back. Have been referred to pain clinic for epidurals. Does these shots take care of the pain? My neuro says that the cysts are probably not causing any of the symptoms I'm having.

Symptoms are pain in lower back if I sit too long, lay too long, or stand too long. My legs have gone numb. Sometimes it feels that my feet are stumbling over each other. It hurts to hold my neck in certain ways.

I would like to hear from anyone that suffers from the same problems. Any advice welcomed.
