Question Cerebral-Spinal fluid (or lack of)

Keep going back to what one of my Ortos said. That due to the spinal cord compression, there is either very little or no Cerebral-Spinal fluid around my cord from level C4-C7. Does anyone know how bad this is, what kind of additional damage it could be causing and what symptoms may be present?

I still waiver between having the surgery (ACDF C4-7) and not. Don't like having to live with the restrictions I am under now, but worry about the outcome and "unknown".

    Thanks for listening.

I looked back at your original post and your symptoms seem similar to mine - numbness, tremors, balance, weakness, I also have a gait issue. My spine was constricted C4-C7 and surgery significantly improved everything - still minor numbness, tremors, balance, weakness -- all very minor, gait is 60% improved.

I was told, and obviously ask your Doc - that if I let it go with the diminished spinal fluid flow I'd risk paralysis.
