ACDF C567 tomorrow morning

Just wanted to let everyone know that my surgery ACDF C567 is in the morning.

Thanks to all of you who posted to my questions, and posted replies to other peoples questions I'm going in a LOT more knowledgeable than when this all started a couple of months ago.

I can't say I'm not scared half to death and the slightest thought about what could happen and the surgery sends me into tears, but I will survive. I have a very good surgeon and lots of people praying for me.

Will update when I can.

Again, thank you to all that have posted to my questions.

I know how you feel...I was just there 3 1/2 weeks ago...While it is completely normal to have anxiety...just remember that this surgery is the gold standard for spine surgeons and your surgeon has spent their whole professional life engaged in this type of work...It may be difficult for you to get your mind around what they are going to do..but it is quite simply what they do every week...Good luck and have faith...God Bless...HTF

Re: ACDF C567 tomorrow morning

Best of luck with the surgery and your outcome. My surgeon claims that this particular type of surgery (ACDF) is the most successful of spine surgeries in terms of relieving pain.

I was in panic mode before surgery, too. But on the actual day of surgery, as I was being prepped, all I felt was relief. I was just glad to be there and finally getting it overwith.

You'll do great.
