    CT/bone scan results

Okay, in the last month I have had a CT scan, a bone scan and an MRI of the neck, all coming back supposedly relatively normal except for reversal of lordosis and there being extreme muscle spasms. However, I recently picked up my results because I am being referred to an orthopedic surgeon on Monday and after reading the results myself I want to know what these things mean if anyone here knows.

    CT Scan of Cervical Spine
THere is a sclerotic lesion with circumscribed margins seen in the odontoid process.

    Bone Scan
Questionable periodontal changes along the left.

huh? I hope the orthopedic will actually take the time to explain unlike my other doctor but just curious if anyone here knows. Thanks
