Question Anyone have an ESI after an ACDF?

I had an ACDF 5/2006 and it appears I may need an Epidural Steroid Injection to calm down one of the nerves. Just wondering if anyone has done the ESI after an ACDF and if it's done any differently from what you know.

Re: Anyone have an ESI after an ACDF?

Are you asking whether the injection is done differently depending on whether or not you've had an ACDF? I had three injections before my surgery (4/06) and I've had one since and it was the same old thing, nothing different that anyone mentioned or that I was aware of.

Thanks. Yep, that's what I was wondering. Now add to the mix I may need a lumbar ESI also. I need to become a member of the "ESI of the Month" club.

Or maybe the "Acronym of the Month" club? Just to keep your options open....

    So true....

ESI after an ACDF with a post-lumbar fusion xray and MRI.
