Neurosurgeons in Houston who do spinal fusion?

I've been told that I need to have an ACDF. I'm wanting to get a second opinion and find the best surgeon available in the Houston area. Does anyone have any experience with the neurosurgeons in Houston? Thanks!

Also consider seeing an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. All of my spinal surgeries were by OSS and they've all been great doctors. The secret was they ONLY do spine surgery (no knees, shoulders, hips, etc).

Re: Neurosurgeons in Houston who do spinal fusion?

I guess I have been looking at Orthopedic surgeons because I had gone to a couple several years ago and they said they couldn't help me. My neurologist told me to see a neurosurgeon and the few that I have contacted seem to think that surgery would be of benefit to me. In addition, I went to an Orthopedic surgeon who specialized in feet and he messed up my foot and I had to go to a podiatrist to get it fixed. Just bad luck I guess.

Please call my doctor's office for a referral in the Houston area. Dr. Frederick Marciano at: 480-425-8004. I am truly blessed to be under the care of Dr. Marciano... he is the best (please google him) and he did a miraculous surgery on my traumatized back. Best wishes to you.
