Spinal Hemangioma?

I have an inoperable AVM in my brain. I have been having severe neck and back pain over the past few month's so my family doctor sent me to have an MRI a month ago and told me I have a Hemangioma at C-7. My family doctor said it was nothing to worry about right now but my neck and my arm is numb all the time. I don't know anything about hemangioma's and I am worried that this could actually be an AVM since I already have one in my brain. Does anyone know if an MRI will show the difference of an AVM and a hemangioma or would I have to get an angiogram to see for sure? Any information would be wonderful right now.
Thank you, Brenda
