Post My turn to moan

Dagnabit (and assorted stronger verbiage inserted here). I felt really good this morning, though my arm's been aching more than usual this week. I'm having my euchre gang over on Wednesday night, so I was doing a bit of cleaning.

You guessed it. One lousy half-full bucket of water (I know better than to attempt a full bucket) and the neck spasmed and I just finished a crying jag. It's been 9 months since my ACDF and I'm still useless. Asked my DH to shoot me now, he refused.

I'm sooo sick and tired of not being able to do for myself and my family. Maybe I won't wait until fall for that surgery, though I really don't want to give up two summers of my life in a row.

Thanks for letting me vent. Guess I'll go supervise hubby doing the floor, scary as that may be.

Hi Nancy

According to the surgery/procedure schedule, you weren't scheduled to moan for another few weeks. BUT, since we have the same vertabrae in common I feel a sense of kinship to your pain.

I'm sorry you're having all these residual issues. I had some spasms last night and was using a few of the words omitted by your post.

Just one curious question though, is it not better to supervise floor cleaning as opposed to performing said cleaning oneself?

Okay, another question "DH" designated hitter?

Soothing thoughts..

Bruce

While I'm sure there are times he thinks it stands for "designated housekeeper", it's shorthand for dear husband. Picked it off of some other board I frequent.

I'm sorry about you problems Nancy, I missed this post this morning
Hope you day improved and your pain improved. DH is a familiar term for me, but my DH is used the whinning... ha!
I am a cry baby to say the least. Very sensitive, unless you do something to hurt my family
So you vent, cry and moan all you want... you deserve it.
Debbie

Those Halcyon pills didn't keep you asleep for long, Bruce. You're up early.

I'm feeling better. Heat, rest and drugs work wonders sometimes. I just wish I had half the endurance and strength of 2 years ago. This sure can make you feel old before your time.

Long day ahead. Work and then drive up to my old haunts for my 4-H meeting. Next meeting we'll have the dogs there for training. That can only mean spring is here!

Hi Nancy,
Sorry to hear your feeling so bad. All I can say is get it out however you can. How are the headaches?
