Anyone have anything like this? Leg pain

    Hello,

I've had pain in both legs for about two months, and slight swelling in my left leg. At times it seems my right leg is a bit puffy too. The pain is intermittent and burning, sharp, and cramp-like. I have seen a rhuematologist, pcp, orthopedic doctor, and my chiropractor. The rhuematologist and pcp didn't know much, but the orthopedic doctor said my pain was behaving like nerve pain. My chiropractor also said my low back was very very tight and tilted, and he also does active release technique, and some of the muscles along the veins and lymph were very sore (ouch when he manipulated them), and he said they were tight. So he said that he got things moving better. After my chiro appt, my left leg felt a bit better, but the right felt like some nerves got tweaked. Still puffy, but appointment was only a day ago.

I am going to see a spine specialist and physical medicine doctor. I am also seeing a vascular specialist to rule out any issues in that area that would cause puffiness. I have had an ultrasound and was negative for dvt.

My question: Could nerve impingement (or something of the sort) cause puffiness in the leg? I can see it most in the lower leg, but it seems to be most of the inside of the leg and calf. It mildly puffy, non-pitting, strangely almost looks like extra cellulite (and I've recently lost weight).

The pain I am experiencing is moderate and in multiple areas of the leg. Walking seems to relieve the pain sometimes, but only for short periods of walking - long periods of walking bother it some. The puffiness in the left leg gets worse in hot showers, for what thats worth.

I'm confused and hoping I can find some answers. Thanks to you all!

ps: I hit my head and had a mild concussion before the pain started. I had been resting for about 2.5 weeks and, the pain started in my left leg and then my right leg. My concussion symptoms mostly felt better after 3 weeks. Could the concussion have messed with my nervous system/nerves/back? I also had my gallbladder out a few weeks after this pain started. My bod has been through a lot lately.

Swelling is not a common symptom of spinal nerve compression. I had swelling in my one foot and ankle after one of my spine surgeries. When I asked my spine surgeon about it, he shook his head and couldn't explain it.

Kidney problems can cause lower limb puffiness. Not good!
