    Question stroke - claw hand

hello! I m a 36 year old lady who had a stroke 5 months ago. I experience a lot of spasticity in my arm and leg.
they've given me botox in the leg which seems to have helped a bit. But I have more and more spasticity In the arm. Every day, I stretch my elbow, I stretch my fingers, I take 30 mg of baclofen but nothing helps. When I walk my arm goes up and I sometimes hit others, when I yawn my hand becomes a fist, when I turn in the bed my arm goes up and fists... I don't know what to u have any tips???
    thank you

Aside from taking botox for the arm, too, do you do any weight bearing exercises on the arm? Weight bearing helps stabilize the over toning. I'm not saying it will return it to normal, it just helps. If you are able to sit on a flat surface and get your arm on the surface beside you and lean a little to put weight on it, it will help. If you can do it with your hand open, even better.
