    Short term memory loss

Hello, I have had an ongoing issue since getting the H1N1/pneumonia in early 2014. I have not had any long lasting effects from my illness except for short term memory loss. Prior to getting this virus, my short term and long term memory were very good. 4 months after being hospitalized, I returned to work. This is when I started to notice I couldn't retain any information in my short term memory. My long term memory is fine, as good as its always been. It has been bothering me so much so that I have been searching for any long term side effects such as this. I can't seem to find anything related to my issue. It is affecting my work and has caused me a great deal of anxiety. I was curious as to whether anyone else has had the same or similar issue and if there is anything I can do to help my short term memory. Anyone who can offer me any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
