Guillain-Barré syndrome and Vaccine
My daughter had the vaccine two weeks ago. Today she's complaining of her arm being hot, red and tingly. And her having a hard time closing her fist because it's "tight" and her fingertips are tingly. I understand that Guillain-Barré syndrome starts in the legs and works it's way up to the hands but I am still worried.

This feeling comes and goes. I offered her some Motrin but when I do she says she's better. I don't know what to think. And am worried just a bit.

Anyone out there heard of anyone who aquired Guillain-Barré syndrome because of this vaccine?

Anyone with any additional thoughts would also be apprecited.

Re: Guillain-Barré syndrome and Vaccine
Anything I have read it can start anywhere but usually within 24hrs of vaccine.I was looking it up because of my son complaining of an itchy bug crawling feeling in his neck which can be a symptom also but it went away after a few days.I would never say never to you but it seems unlikely to be gbs. They also said 22 people out of 10million vaccines is the rate of gbs. I sent you a message
