Many teens have stretch marks due to a quick development. If you ever had a quick growth spurt than the skin didn't have time to get used to it and you got little stretch marks. Dont worry about it we all have them.

Vitamin E oil works sometimes, and Mederma. You can buy both at the drug store. It will never make them go away just be less noticeable. Over time they will fade.

You can't get them to go away.

Just be glad you don't have them all up and down your back like me.

Yup... I also got them in my teens, same place as you. And I didn't grow suddenly or gain or lose weight, so I don't know where they come from. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about them. I just always make sure to put on body lotion after showers so it prevents my skin from drying out and going old too quickly.

    Welcome to womanhood!

Stretch marks come from loosing or gaining weight, don't worry about them, they will fade.

As I was reading this, I was thinking....are you sure it's not just spider veins? I have spider veins because I inherited them from my mom. Oh goody! Then again, I guess I better take another look; some might be stretch marks. Either way, they are not attractive, and I don't like them.

Try the type of cream that pregnant women use to avoid or diminish stretch marks, it's the same process just a different cause so the creams/oils should help

    Stretch marks suck though http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

I don't know what it's called I am sure there are several (I'm in the UK and have never been pregnant), ask your pharmacist and explain to them what you want it for. There might even be a product specifically for those kinds of stretch marks

About the scarring, it won't look as bad as that and it will begin to look better over time, just be careful when sunbathing (OK don't think there will be much of that now that it's autumn!) as this makes them look much worse (they stay white when your skin tans, or they burn).

Also ask your pharmacist if a cream to diminish scars might help in this case.

My 15 year old son has stretch marks on his back......At first I thought he had injured his back while swinging a baseball bat in the living room and hitting the ceiling fan and shattering the globe (ofcourse I had told him over and over not to do this) They kept getting worse and I did not know what they were so I took him to the dr. Luckily they are on his back. He grew quickly over the summer.
