11 glasses or water!

11 glasses or water!

is it true that if you drink 11 glasses of water a day you lose 350 calories?

I haven't heard that before but it might because water suppresses your appitiate so you very may cut back on what your eatting therefor cutting out calories you otherwise would have had.

I doubt its true - Like 99% of the other weight lose myths.

If you wanna lose weight, just eat lots of veggies like Lettuce, celery etc. It takes you more energy to digest them they contain. Plus...Its proven to work

If you want to lose weight eat lots of fruits and veggies, lean meats. Stay away from fatty, suggary foods. No soda, no juice, drink water or milk, sugar substitutes are ok as long as you don't have too much as those can be bad for you also. Drinking an adequite amount of water can be helpful because many people will eat when they really need to drink. Also, exercise, swim, bike, rollar blade any kind of exercise you enjoy.
Losing weight needs to be done in a healthy and sustainable way. If you want to lose weight by drinking a lot of water, well that's not healthy or sustainable, you need to replace the bad foods in your diet with healthy foods, not water which other than providing the liquids your body needs does nothing else, there is no nutritional value. And of course you will end up getting sick of drinking so much water and just go back to your old eating habits.

Persoanlly I have never heard of that. You are suppose to drink 8 cups a day I believe to balance you H2o intake but I did have a friend that drank to much water and ended up in the hospital. So be careful

Drinking a glass of very cold ice water can cause you to lose 25 calories because it takes that many calories to get your body temperature back to normal. So 11 glasses would be 275 calories. However, you would have to drink the glasses during different times of the day, so I don't think it would have too much of an effect.

Water is very good for you, that is without a doubt , but the human body has to burn 3,500 more calories than you intake, to loose 1lb of body fat.
