I just graduated in June, and I can honestly say that senior year was just like any other school year, except for graduation of course. It was kind of anti-climactic going up and getting my diploma- it was, like, "I slaved 12, long years for this?" The only so-called "perks" I think we got was a senior trip to an amusement park that was crap so I didn't go. Anyway, the best thing about being a senior by far, is having all of the underclassmen look up to you in awe, and you can look at them and say how immature they are! LOL!

i guess its good. you can sign yourself out if your old enough and do a senior prank! im only in 11th but 9th and 10th grade have been the most fun ever for me. maybe becuase i do Football or something, but ive never had so much fun. Hopefully senior year can top it,if it cant, then damn senior year is gonna suck.

Well ,at my school when you're a senior you get to graduate early.Plus you only have to take like 3 core classes, the rest can be extracurricular(drama ,choir ,foreign languages ,band, technical classes,etc.).At least thats what I think happens senior year. But the thing is you have to have 28 credits to graduate(7 credits per year). But I should have no trouble getting them.

Re: perks of being a senior?

I just finished High School in May and to be honest Senior year was horrible. It was boring and pointless. I had 6 classes with 2 off periods so i was taking classes I didnt need so it was a waste of time. Senior year does go really fast though and before you know it, its over. The best thing that came from my senior year was the last day of school. I seriously think school should end at junior year. But the pluses that I can think of is at my school seniors could eat off campus, so I didnt have to sneak off, and I didnt get a lot of homework at all.
