Hi, I need help regarding my poop.

    Hi, I'm a teen Male.

Over the past year I've hit puberty, and everything's changed for me.
Pooping isn't the same, it hurts to poop every time.

    Last year:

August came along, and my poop hurt when it came out, eventually blood was seen, but it wasn't dark, but it wasn't like LIGHT in your face, ye know? Anyhow there was little blood to be seen, I told my mom and she said don't worry about it, but yet I being the person I am, worry's. So she got me this slip, that we had to take samples of my poop for days, that went in and the results came back as good, no sign of anything, FEW.

So this went by, I went by summer, no problems with my poo.

The last month or so, I've been having some tough issues. It's almost like I have to give it "My all" to take a crap. It's not huge or anything, but it's like a big blob of little specs of poo, not so litte, but it's just like a round marble x2 in size. Anyhow, these take so much effort, and it hurts.

Yesterday I had the most blood I've seen, and it hurt to get out.
Yesterday night I went again, it was hard, but no blood.

Tonight, it's been the worst. No blood infact, but I spent 2 hours, trying to get out maybe 6 pieces that were the shape of Marbles.

After, I examined it, and it had white specs in it, white... Weird, I'm not sure if there was blood, but from the side I saw, there was no blood.

What I eat isn't so healthy.
But my dad said I need to start eating vegetables, and I have been for the past 3 nights. (Beans, etc.) My Fibre isn't really good though, as I probably get NONE. I eat meat like a boss, I eat potatoes, and I have chocolate Milk regulary. Tonight I had Ribs, beans, and rice.

I guess what my questions are.

Is it really possible to get Colon Cancer at my age.
Why does it hurt so much, Would it not kick in if I've eaten healthy over the past 3 days?
Is blood a bad sign, do I have any death possibility's. (Bloods red, but not light, it's not super dark, but it's darkish. It's not black, so I know it's not been sitting there long, I know it's part of me tearing my tissue's, because my poo hurts so much).
What sort of "Yummy" fibre foods are there?

Thanks alot, I appreciate all you guys helping me if you do,
I'm scared and worried about the blood part.

Re: Hi, I need help regarding my poop.

Sounds like you might just be constipated. I had a lot of that in my teens. I did eat salads thinking that was the way to go but forgot to eat a range of other healthy foods to go with it. Plus didn't know it at the time but turns out eating loads of vegetables to be healthy when you have not eaten that many vegetables before, will cause your insides to rebel which doesn't help one little bit.

Your Dad is right in saying eat more veg but I don't think he meant do it in a one-er. I'd go see your doctor again. He will know your medical history and hopefully can set your mind at ease and maybe provide a healthy eating plan with a range of foods.

    Best wishes.

It does sound as though you're constipated. Please do not try to provide a self-diagnosis and instead talk to your medical doctor. Perhaps increasing your fiber intake can help for easier bowel movements. (Fiber is a substance found in plants.) Foods such as whole grains (the label should say "100% whole grain" or 100% whole wheat" for it to be the "whole" grain and not refined), fruits, vegetables, nuts and beans, are fibrous, and may help with "motility". It's important to remember to only increase one's fiber intake gradually or gas/indigestion may occur. Please, however, talk to your doctor about the difficulty with bowel movements as he/she may want to eventually refer you to a gastroenterologist (specialist/dr. of digestive disorders) if the situation stays the same. Hoping that you feel better really soon.
