Dr. Arem's The Thyroid Solution is a great book. There is a lot of information in this book and interesting too!

I found that Living Well with Autoimmune Disease written by Mary J. Shomon was also very good. Hashimotos is autoimmune in nature and the book speaks to this issue. She offers good insight as she has struggled with the disorder herself. My symptoms have included the full range including muscle and joint pain. In the book, she speaks of recent treatment including antibiotic therapy with doxyclycline. I plan to inquire about this approach at my next visit and would not have known about it without reading the bood. Good luck to you.
