Post Getting Better ???

I am very grateful that this board is here because without it I would have thought I lost my sanity. Reading your posts and having some of you answer my questions has been a real life saver. Thank you all!
Three weeks ago I went from .075mg to .1mg Synthroid and as bad as I was it got worse, fatigue, brain fog, headaches, etc.. In the past few days I have been getting some relief from my symptoms. Iíve been able to do some much needed housework and walk almost a mile. I still tire quickly and I am afraid to push it, but I am grateful for this return of some energy. I am hopeful that my new med adjustment is finally beginning to take effect. I have not worked in months and am hopeful I can get back to work soon.
My endo told me 4-6 weeks for the med change to really take hold, but I appreciate any period of normality.
Has anyone else had similar experiences during their recovery?
Is it normal to increase Synthroid from .075mg to .1 or should it have been increased in steps?

Med changes are hard on your body, When my dose was upped from .75 my doc went to .088, then I went to .088 5 days and 1 on 2 days, then back to .088 straight through, I was on Unithroid, I am now on Thyrolar because I needed a T3 T4 combo. All these changes took place over the last 2 years, not close together.
The jump from .75 to 1 may be a little hard on you for a while, but your body will adjust.
Hope you are feeling great soon.
