Question Have uptake in the AM

I have my test in the morning. I had the pill today. This may be a stupid question, but can I drink coffee before my test? I couldn't have any this morning before I took the pill. As you can see, my needs are not too much. HAHA

Re: Have uptake in the AM

Yes, you can have your coffee. Of course, my doctor wanted me to remain on the low iodine diet until after the test results came back in case they had to do anything else that required the diet in preparation. So if your doc is having you do the low iodine diet, you should probably avoid creamer or other dairy products in the coffee. But otherwise, the iodine is already in your system, so drinking coffee shouldn't affect its absorption in your stomach. Hope the test comes out okay!
