When should Bloodwork be done (in cycle)?

My endo is fine tuning dosage, I still feel so fatigued.... he ordered bloodwork after raising my dose of Synthroid again (third time), is there a certain time during the menstrual cycle that will be better to get the tests? I read before that you are more hypo during ovulation... is that true (and if so I should get test then)? Also, he's only ever had me tested for TSH and free T4.... is this adequate for most people? My current TSH is 2.5 and T4 is 0.98 ish. Thanks to anyone who can answer my questions.

Re: When should Bloodwork be done (in cycle)?

Your free levels tend to drop at ovulation and stay low till your cycle starts, so if you want to get bloodwork when they are at a low point, that would be the time. Your TSH is still a bit high and the T4 on the low side. Most drs will check only those, but if those are at optimal levels and you still feel poorly, the problem may be the FT3. IMO you should always have both FREE levels checked.
