Re: Question about prescriptions

Hi CherryPie,

Since I don't know what state you live in I can't really give you much. Here in PA there is a state run ins. program for low income people. Many of the Dr.s offices will tell a person about it and how to apply if they are asked but they don't volunteer it. Perhaps if you asked a receptionist or accounts receivable gal in your Dr.s office they would have some suggestions for you. Surely they have run across this before.

May God Bless and Keep Us All

Re: Question about prescriptions

I would call around to different insurance companies, see how much they are for self employed people. Also, look up your state website and see if you can find health insurance info.

Check into the brand company's websites. Almost all of them have programs for folks in your postion.

Let us know how it goes!

Re: Question about prescriptions

There are programs that are available from the various drug manufacturers, too. Look up Needymeds in your favorite web search and see what you can find.

I am not a doctor, nor have I ever played one on TV...
